A Healthy Colon Is The Key To A Healthy Body by Paul Rogers

Maintaining a healthy colon is one of the single most important steps you can take to detoxify your body of accumulated toxins and waste. A healthy colon is truly essential to one’s overall health, especially when you consider that literally everything you eat ends up in your bowels as toxins. Part of the reason so many Americans have an unhealthy colon is the lack of fiber benefits to their diet. Furthermore, the average American diet includes less than a fraction of the fiber foods necessary to promote elimination of toxins from the body.

Cause & Natural Treatment of Acid Reflux by Brian Balster

Acid Reflux. It’s one of the buzz words today. We see many ads for drugs that supposedly ‘cure’ this ‘excess’ acid. In reality, these drugs only mask the symptoms.
Here is the real cause of Acid Reflux: The body is not producing the right amount of acid for the foods that are in your stomach. For example, proteins (like steak, chicken, etc) need to be digested at a pH of ~1.0. [pH ranges from 1.0 to 14.0, where 1 is extremely acid and 14 is extremely alkaline. 7.0 is neutral.] Proteins digest best at a pH of 1.0; however, when the stomach is at a pH of 4.0, there isn’t enough acid to allow the enzymes that digest protein to work effectively. The is improper digestion. The foods can start to ferment, causing acidic bubbles that push up through the stomach and into the throat bringing the acidic stomach juices with them.

Digestrin Review

Digestrin is a food supplement which seeks to treat the symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), a gastrointestinal disorder characterized by abdominal pain and changes in bowel habits. This article will discuss how the product supposedly treats IBS through what its manufacturers claim is a three-phase process.

Three-part action

Each phase is said to work on a specific aspect of IBS. The idea is to treat a specific set of symptoms at a time instead of trying to target everything at the same time. IBS is manifested by various symptoms and these may differ across specific body types. The three-phase system is said to work on all possible symptoms of the disorder to ensure its effectiveness.

Start at the root cause

Phase A of the Digestrin supplement treatment works on the brain and the nerves that cause gastric muscle spasms. These spasms cause cramping, constipation and swelling. Aside from regulating muscle contractions from the nerves, the first phase of the supplement also has calming effects that are supposed to combat stress. By acting on the nerves that cause the disorder, the supplement is said to work from the root of the problem. From there, the product shall continue its work, this time on the gastric tract through the second phase.
